Company History

Established in 1936, Joseph Dahdah first produced uniforms for the Australian Military in the 1930’s and 40’s. During the 1950’s, the majority of sales were to government institutions and the petroleum industry.

Throughout the 1960’s and 70’s, Joseph Dahdah expanded into almost every area of the Australian workwear industry by specialising in unique total management control systems. The 1980’s brought increased expansion as the workwear industry in Australia boomed. Dahdah’s research and development team became innovative leaders within the uniform industry with developments such as Flame Retardant and Anti-static apparel.

From the 90’s through to today, Joseph Dahdah has been undertaking constant development and growth processes using the latest textile technology in fashion and safety garments. Joseph Dahdah has integrated electronic technology into Total Apparel Management (TAM) systems for all our customers both large and small.
