FAQ

Corporate uniforms are any clothing that can be worn in corporate settings. For men, this typically includes closed-in shoes, long pants and buttoned shirts. For more formal settings, often with roles involving client management, blazers and ties may also be required. The same pieces of clothing worn by men are accepted in corporate environments for women to wear. As an exception, women may also choose to wear dresses and open-toed shoes.

Casual workwear is clothing workers wear while completing the duties in their profession, that isn’t required to appear as formal as wearing a blazer, tie, buttoned shirt or exclusively long pants. A worker in casual clothing might be wearing a t-shirt, chino long pants, shorts or even hats and beanies.

The term ‘custom uniforms’ implies that anything can be added to a uniform, assuming that the additional elements aren’t designed to cause offence. Custom additions to uniforms could include different colours or highlights compared to existing designs, added or removed collars, sleeve height, adjustment of buttons or any other aesthetic changes.

Uniforms first and foremost, are a way to show to customers that an employee represents a business. For profit-driven organisations, this invites customers to approach an employee with questions or intentions to purchase, which leads to increased sales. The second benefit of uniforms is the association of a team.
